A complex and intense smoke with earthy aroma and dry wood flavours. The cigar is part of the Maduro 5 line, characterized by a wrapper that enhances the cigar’s flavours through its 5 years of aging. The cigars of this line are dressed distinctively from the rest of the Cohiba cigars. The traditional Cohiba ring band has been complemented with a lower black stripe with the marking Maduro 5. The wooden boxes where the cigars are packed in are also darker in color than the Clásica and 1492 lines.
The cigars are Tripa Larga, Totalmente a Mano – long filler, totally hand made.
The Cohiba Mágicos is a 4.5-inch by 52 ring gauge petit robusto handcrafted in Cuba. It features a dark Maduro wrapper aged for five years. This medium-to-full bodied cigar has a flavor profile that includes notes of dark chocolate, espresso, and caramel.
The Mágicos vitola was introduced in 2007 as part of Cohiba’s Maduro 5 lineup. The wrapper leaf is grown at the top of shade-grown plants and aged in wooden barrels for five years. This aging process produces an oily wrapper that influences the flavor and character of the smoke.
The smoking experience includes notes of pepper, leather, and molasses, transitioning into cocoa and roasted coffee. The 52 ring gauge provides a dense smoke texture.
The Mágicos offers approximately 45 to 60 minutes of smoking time. It is often paired with beverages such as dark stout, malted beer, or aged rum.
