Festival del Habano Cigar

Every year Havana plays host to the Habano Cuban Cigar Festival in the month of February. The festival is one of the most coveted festivals in the eyes of any Cigar Aficionado and is usually held over five days. There, amongst the warm air and tropical breeze floating through the palm trees, all the visitors participate in activities that include but are not limited to tours of cigar factories, cigar tastings, Habano sommelier contest, trade fairs, seminars focused on the production, distribution and history of Habanos cigars, an instruction class on how to roll a Habano, and visits to tobacco plantations. Sounds wonderful, right? Unfortunately, All this information does not even hold a candle to the real experience of getting to interact with the beautiful people of Havana and the other attendees.
The visitors usually include artisans and collectors, smokers club, cigar aficionados, tourists, locals, amateur smokers, producers and marketers of luxury and smoker products, tobacco producers, dealers from the tobacco industry and of course the distributors of Habano Cigars from across the world. All in all, this is an extremely knowledgeable and passionate crowd looking to find out more about the cigars that they love most.
This year, Festival del Habano Cigar will be held in Havana Cuba between February 27 – March 3, 2017. And Havana will once again attract all the top cigar lovers across the world. We can’t wait to get there and lie in the Cuban sun sipping on rum and smelling the aroma of the sweet, aged, tobacco leaf wafting from the famous La Casa del Habano smoke shop every time one opens the door. Habano, s.a, invites you as well, to enjoy an entire week amongst friends, knowledgeable and loving locals another aficionados – all of them with whom you have at least one thing in common- Cigars.
