The Quai D’Orsay No. 50 is a Cuban Petit Robusto cigar. It measures 4.37 inches long with a 50 ring gauge. Originally developed for the French market, this global release provides a mild-to-medium-bodied smoke characterized by smooth creaminess and delicate sweetness.
Established in 1973, the Quai d’Orsay brand was initially created for French distributors. Named after a riverside boulevard in Paris, this Habano was historically intended to pair with champagne. In 2017, the brand underwent a global relaunch featuring redesigned gold bands and new sizes.
The flavor profile features several distinct layers. The smoke contains notes of sweet cedar, creamy nougat, and toasted almonds. The finish is characterized by touches of vanilla, honeyed wood, and a hint of citrus zest. As the strength is in the mild-to-medium range, the accompanying baking spices remain subtle on the palate.
